found objects and first experiments
This is where painting began for me—not with a plan, but with curiosity and whatever was on hand. I painted on cardboard, plywood, salvaged panels. I pressed found objects into wet paint. I scribbled, scraped, washed, and layered without knowing what I was after. It was play, but also a search—an intuitive reaching toward something just out of view.
These early works belong to a time of raw permission, before I knew what I was doing, or thought I should. Most are gone now. A few remain.
