interlude

Here the wheel slows, and turns inward. The stories in this interlude shift from the lives of passengers to the deeper currents running through my own. The central chapter—What Are You?—names the rupture that upended my life, a loss so total it stripped away every identity I once held. Around that central wound gather fragments: symbols, stories, voices, attempts to make meaning. These are not explanations, but offerings—traces of the long and quiet work of becoming someone new. The final piece, First Date, marks the moment when, after all the unmaking, something tender begins again.
